Juneteenth Celebration. The Hingham Unity Council is hosting the second annual Juneteenth Freedom Day from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hingham Bathing Beach along Route 3A. Raindate is Sunday, June 19. Join the Council for live music from Big Redd’s House, a dance performance by YAK (Youth Acquiring Knowledge), and a singing of the Black National Anthem by acclaimed gospel singer Rakeem Andre. Food will be available for purchase from Morrell’s BBQ. This event is free and requires no advance registration. Details at hinghamunity.org.
