DROWNED HOG CHOWDERFEST WEEKEND - This weekend which falls on usually the last Saturday in January has over 500 people jump in the fringed Atlantic Ocean at Nantasket Beach to raise money for Wellspring. Immediately following is the Nantasket Beach Soup and Chowder Festival at the Red Parrot.  Water Temperature this year was a balmy 39 degrees. Chowderfest winner for 2007 was Weinberg's Bakery.
