Hull Nantasket Chamber of Commerce releases 2008 Scholarship Application

 

The Hull Chamber of Commerce believes that an educated public leads to a more prosperous and vibrant business community.  A strong business community working with and supporting a strong school system can define a town.  To that end, the Hull Chamber of Commerce awards a $1,000 scholarship to 2 Hull graduating seniors that have displayed intellect, involvement and commitment.

Hull’s BOOK is coming…

 

 

The PTO’s Community Cookbook is a collaborative effort which includes recipes and artwork from Hull community members and businesses that reflect our unique culture and location.

  • Do you cook a special dish for a Fort Revere concer
  • Have you sketched your favorite Paragon Carousel Ever penned a quirky poem about Sunset Point, Windemere or the Village?ant to share that special sunset photo snapped from atop Allerton How did Kenberma get its name anyway?

By Hull, about Hull, and for Hull – together we are striving to raise funds to enable the PTO (a 501c3 organization) to continue financial assistance and promotion of school-related activities for all of Hull’s school children.

 

Be a part of it all!  We invite you to submit your best family recipe by completing the enclosed Recipe Submission form.  Working together, we can create a book which truly depicts Hull and its tastes at their best!

Endless Summer Waterfront Festival

Saturday September 20th ( rain date the 21st) from noon-6pm right on Nantasket Ave. Come join over 20 restaurants, and 75 vendors selling gifts, art, tee shirts, candles.... Proceeds to benefit the Hull Nantasket Chamber Scholarship Fund.

 

We encourage all chamber members to list your events by e-mailing us. If you're not a chamber member, but have a town event, we will be glad to list it as long as there is a link to the chamber website.

The Hull PTO invites all to help Make a Lasting Impression with the purchase of
an engraved dedication plaque to be displayed in the newly constructed wing at
the Lillian M. Jacobs School. The proceeds from each plaque sale will directly
support all of Hull’s school children. Be on the look out for Phase I which is
near completion.

Phase II has begun and can be purchased through January 11th.Make sure you to
visit the Hull PTO link on the town’s website (www.town.hull.ma.us) for
additional information. Go ahead --- leave your name on the wall!
